IANTD Advanced Nitrox Diver

This course is designed for advanced divers who wish to dive deeper, more safely, and more skillfully, and to extend their bottom time—capabilities that only technical diving training can provide. It is an engaging and enjoyable course that teaches new topics from a technical diving perspective, introducing divers to a new set of standards. Divers discover a fascinating new realm of diving that opens doors to further advanced courses, such as wreck diving, Trimix, deep diving, cave diving, closed-circuit rebreather (CCR) diving, and more.

The course spans approximately five days and includes theory lessons, confined water sessions, and open water dives to depths of up to 40 meters.
Theory lessons cover advanced technical equipment, physics, emergency procedures, the use of Nitrox (up to 100% oxygen), advanced dive planning, and more.
The training program includes approximately six open water dives. During these sessions, students learn to operate within the environment using advanced technical gear and apply the concepts they have learned, including instrument-assisted decompression stops, deep diving, managing diving emergencies, emergency survival techniques, and more. Prerequisites:
Minimum age of 15 on the course start date
Parental consent required for participants under 18
Advanced Adventure Diver (2-star) certification or higher
Nitrox Diver certification (can be combined at the start of the course)
60 logged dives, including at least 10 dives deeper than 27 meters, or demonstration of sufficient in-water proficiency to the instructor
Valid diving insurance

Certification:
Upon successful completion of all required tasks, the diver will be certified as an Advanced EANx Diver by IANTD—a leading professional diving organization. This certification authorizes diving to a depth of 40 meters, with no decompression time limits, using gas mixtures containing up to 100% oxygen.
* This course can be combined with the Advanced Recreational Trimix course, which certifies divers to a depth of 45 meters.
